Leaders should always be respected, although they have done something wrong. Railing leader in front of masses is condemed and amongst the act of khawareej. I was laughing when i read someone’s blog who is featured on Nuffnang’s blog and considered as malaysia’s top blogger.
It’s a pity since it’s contents are just railings on their leader Abdullah Ahmad Badawi and Najib … (i don’t know his second name). Giving advices to leader should be done confidentially. Railing leader in front of masses will only bring chaoses just like what Myanmar faces currently.
PS: Ahemm, from now on, i think i will use this blog to accomodate social matters more frequently than before. But IT subjects will always be my priorities. To see dedicated blog for IT learning, you can visit my friend’s blog.

In Indonesia, there are -at least- 2 familiar IT celebrities/persons considered as “Experts” in Information Technology field. I -subjectively- divide them into two categories. The first become celebrity since he has technical background on Engineering, he is a lecturer of Electrical Engineering’s faculty of Indonesia’s best technical school (now become School of Electrical Engineer and Information Technology -CMIIW-, the name changed after my graduation-) and the other one become celebrity for it’s vigorious opinion on the mass media.
Well, subjectively, i don’t consider both of them as “IT Experts”, Why? Well IT is a fast-changing science that nobody should not be able to be permanently considered as an Expert. For example, I think i have a good-enough skills with the Microsoft Dot NET Platform since 2 years ago, but right now, the Dot Net Platform is evolving, i don’t even think that i can be as good as my 2 years ago when perform Dot Net-Programming using the latest Net Framework technology. I think, this reason also true for my opinion about those “Expert-Considered” people. So expertise is a time-bounded property.
About the first person, i think he has no core-competence on IT hence cannot be considered as an IT expert. Yes, he hold a Master degree from Canada’s University, but on what subject? it’s not about IT. His expertise is the result of an autodidact IT learning from newspaper, books, internet and other sources.
The second is more awful. He is 100% IT-uneducated people. He gained popularity for it’s impressive comments in public media. He also involved -as a commentator- in many strategic cases in Indonesia, such as national election and massive-published political-related subjects.
Well what else can i say? Itulah Indonesia….. That is Indonesia.
But I dont want to be ridiculous, i just want to be fair, i admit their roles -sometimes- badly-needed by Indonesians people, IT community, especially. Since their personage and charisma make problems more-easily-solved than if taken care by unwell-known regular IT experts.
